Emergency Department

North Alabama Medical Center Emergency Department is a Level III trauma center that provides services to Northwest Alabama, Southern Tennessee and Northeast Mississippi. Care is provided 24/7 to persons of all ages and backgrounds.

The Emergency Department consists of 38 beds, five fast track bays, four major trauma bays and an eight bed geriatric treatment area. The E.D. is responsible for the immediate treatment and initiation of life or limb saving procedures in all types of emergencies
